Activities Are So Important

At Hindhead Place Luxury Care Home, residents can look forward to a varied and engaging lifestyle, with a wide range of activities and experiences tailored to individual interests. Examples of the kinds of events on offer include botanical workshops where residents can explore the art of flower arranging and create beautiful centrepieces, and social gatherings such as High Tea in the Bistro, which provides the chance to enjoy a selection of teas, sandwiches, pastries, and cakes in a friendly, welcoming setting. For those who enjoy being creative, watercolour art classes offer a relaxed space to express artistic flair, whilst cinema evenings in our Picturehouse feature classic films or new releases, complete with popcorn and ice cream. Residents might also take part in quiz nights, enjoying a bit of friendly competition alongside drinks and nibbles.

In addition, residents can enjoy a touch of pampering in our Wellbeing and Beauty Salon, get involved in our gardening club, and experience the joy of spending time with visiting therapy animals. Residents can also enjoy outings to local attractions, lunch trips, and community events. Of course, all activities are optional — residents are free to relax in our cosy lounges, welcoming bistro, or beautifully landscaped gardens at their own pace. And if there’s something special a resident would like to do, our dedicated Wellbeing Coach and Homemakers are always on hand to help make it happen. At Hindhead Place, every day is an opportunity to live life your way.
