Wendy Whiteford is Manager at Windyhall Nursing Home.

Windyhall Care Home is a traditional Victorian House situated off a quiet street in Ayr, providing a superior standard of accommodation close to the town centre. The care home has charming gardens as well as a lovely patio area where our residents can enjoy the sunshine. We provide exemplary standards of Dementia and Respite Care in beautiful accommodation designed to promote small group living.

Windyhall Care Home is built on the ethos that each individual should be given every opportunity to live an enriched and independent life in a supportive, caring environment. For those who have higher care needs, we aim to ensure you make the most of your day by providing the right amount of support where necessary, and our staff really do go the extra mile to ensure that our residents live the life they want and fulfil their goals.

Our entire ethos is on the word ‘home’. It’s crucial that Windyhall feels like home and offers home comforts, whatever that means to each individual.
