The safety and wellbeing of our staff and residents is paramount and we work in accordance with government and local healthcare regulations to ensure that all policies are adhered to which include:
Regular staff and resident LFT testing
Infection control procedures in place
The correct use of PPE
Visitors to evidence a negative LFT testing prior to entering the home.

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

We offer accommodation for 100 residents in our modern and well-equipped en-suite bedrooms. We also have attractive living room areas, dining rooms, terraced gardens and a bar & bistro. Additional facilities include a cinema room, hair salon and private dining rooms where families and friends can come together in a private setting.

Our beautifully decorated suites come completely furnished and ready for residents to personalise. Each of our 106 rooms are designed to provide residents with a high level of comfort in order to create a pleasant, home-like atmosphere.

All of our lovely en-suite rooms have been thoughtfully created with our residents’ care and comfort in mind; with state-of-the-art, specialised equipment, cutting-edge technology, temperature-controlled central heating and tasteful interiors, residents can experience a luxury feel.

At Westerton, one of our many passions is ensuring that our residents get the most out of every day. We encourage our residents to keep doing what makes them happy, whether it’s walking through Westerton’s gardens and grounds, socialising with friends and family, or stretching their legs while visiting the pleasant and historic town centre of Bearsden.

Our Activity Coordinators have a great time creating a range of enjoyable activities for our residents. Despite the fact that we have a minibus to carry our people from one excursion to the next, Westerton is in such a great location that if a family member wanted to join in on the fun, there are several local public transport options for our residents and guests to take advantage of.
