Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

Our dedicated teams continue to work tirelessly to deliver exceptional care, always placing our residents at the centre of every decision. Their commitment ensures that the people living in our homes feel safe, supported, and able to enjoy a fulfilling, meaningful life every day.

We are welcoming new residents and offering personalised tours of our homes so families can feel confident and informed. To help us maintain the highest standards of infection control, we ask that all visitors follow best practice hand hygiene. All decisions are taken in line with current government guidance to provide the right level of protection for residents, visitors, and colleagues.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Air Filtration & Purification We are using air filtration and/or air purification devices within our care setting.
safe-tick Independent Assessments We have been independently assessed in our approach to infection control.
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
safe-tick Sterilisation & Disinfection Devices We are using sterilisation and/or disinfection devices within our care setting.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
