Gina is a highly respected healthcare leader whose career blends deep clinical expertise with a proven track record of delivering exceptional care home performance.

Trained as a nurse, Gina brings valuable clinical insight to every aspect of her management approach. Her hands‑on understanding of care enables her to lead with empathy, clarity, and confidence, ensuring residents receive the highest levels of safety, dignity, and personalised support.

Gina has successfully led two Cinnamon homes: Rectory Court, where she served as General Manager, and Rokewood Court, where she guided the home through its commissioning phase with precision and passion. Earlier in her career, she played a significant role in the success of Sutton Park Grange, contributing to its recognition as one of the Top 20 Care Homes in the South East, a testament to her drive for excellence and her ability to elevate both team culture and resident experience

Our new 73-bedroom care home on the outskirts of Leicester will provide a warm, homely and supportive environment, complemented by the very latest innovations in care. This includes the Sensio RoomMate system, which uses infrared technology designed to enhance resident safety and help reduce the risk of falls. Thurnby Fields will provide exceptional long and short-term person-centred residential and dementia care within a warm, friendly and welcoming community.

Description

Designed with meticulous attention, the bright and spacious bedrooms at Thurnby Fields Care Home will offer comfort, convenience and a choice of internal decoration. The rooms will come fully furnished including a profiling bed, TV, WiFi and a private ensuite wet room. Although the rooms are fully furnished, we always recommend you bring some of your own cherished items to personalise your room. A select number of bedrooms will also benefit with access to a private patio and the wider Thurnby Fields gardens. To ensure a good night’s sleep we provide a choice of premium bedding and pillow options of your preference.
