Sonia Vinnicombe is Manager at The Grange Care Home.
I have worked in care for the last 27 years. I started in care as a carer and progressed through the years in my role.
I have a wide range of knowledge having worked in a variety of Care settings, including Residential, Dementia and Nursing homes.
I am dedicated to supporting The Grange care home and those that reside here to live a fulfilling and active life.
In my spare time I like to spend it with my family and dogs. I enjoy watching Football, Rugby and Darts.
The Grange is a newly refurbished residential care home in New Herrington, Houghton-le-Spring situated within the vicinity of County Durham and the Tyne and Wear area.
Houghton-le-Spring is a quiet village with a growing community, friendly neighbourhood and tranquil atmosphere. Its close proximity to Sunderland, Durham and Washington provides easy access to local shops, pubs, restaurants, parks and major roads particularly the A1 and A19.

We have spacious lounge on all floors which are designed to create an atmosphere where our residents can feel relaxed and at-home. With plenty of space, lighting and stylish interior design, our lounge is a perfect place to spend time watching television, reading books and newspapers, engaging with a range of activities provided by our experienced staff. Residents can also enjoy the outdoor with our secured garden and patio lounge during warm sunny days. |
