I am a registered nurse and have extensive experience in both the NHS and private sector. I have been a registered manager in both residential and nursing settings caring for a variety of physical and mental health conditions. I am a Registered Nurse with 28 years of working experience that has allowed me to gain a range of knowledge and experience where I worked 8 years in the Caribbean, 16 years in the NHS emergency setting, and 4 years in the Private Care sector as a Deputy Manager. Working in the Care home sector my knowledge for Dementia and mental health support care has increased significantly.

Joining Hamberley Care Homes my vision as a Clinical lead is to ensure that a very high standard of care is delivered to the residents at all times, through effective teamwork.

Outside of the kitchen, i enjoy Motorsport, football and travel.

My name is Rita Adams, I have worked in the care sector for 5 years. My role is to look after the wellbeing of the residents and the staff, to get to know each individual and to support the staff. I will be gathering the life history of the residents and in particular their hobbies, likes and dislikes and what they would like to spend their days doing. The team and I will provide stimulation, activities, and companionship, to all who live at Montague House providing as much, or as little support as they wish. 
My hope is to build a happy, stimulating and caring environment for all residents and staff providing harmony and a wonderful environment to live and work.

My role will involve keeping the our home to above and beyond five star standard ensuring all our residents, staff and family members remain safe and comfortable in our beautiful home.

Activities Are So Important

There will be plenty going on in our vibrant, happy home. We are passionate about building strong links in the local community and will always work hard to make sure there's a varied and colourful programme of events.

Like all Hamberley care homes, when restrictions allow, we like to work with nurseries, schools and other local community hubs to encourage intergenerational socialising. We're always eager to host seasonal events such as Christmas parties and Summer Fairs, and regularly hold a number of informational virtual events for the local community.
