Sam Wilson
Sam Wilson
Lodge Service Advisor

I’ve worked in the care industry for almost 22 years, firstly in domiciliary care and then in care homes in an administrative & financial role.

I am now a Lodge Service Advisor at Lakelands Lodge Fleetwood and assist families and their loved ones through their care search; offering a point of contact should they wish to find out more about anything to do with the care we offer or the lodge itself.

In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, gardening and spending time with my family and friends.

Business Development Manager

I’ve worked in the care industry for almost 30 years, in an administrative & financial role for different major care providers.

I am now privileged to be the Business Development Manager, helping our Lodge Service Advisors assists families and their loved ones through their care search; offering a point of contact should they wish to find out more about anything to do with the care we offer or the lodge itself.

This is an industry I love, meeting all the residents, their families and friends at this important stage of their journey makes me feel very honoured.

In my spare time I enjoy ballroom and Latin dancing, reading, the theatre, travelling and of course spending time with my own family and friends.

Head Chef

My name is Brendan Andrews, I am the Head Chef at the brand new Lakelands Lodge in Fleetwood, I have worked at Lakelands

since the lodge’s opening in November 2020. I have had a long and varied career, I have worked in all areas and all management levels of the hospitality industry. My chosen career has enabled me to travel extensively, I have lived and worked in several countries, learning all about different cultures, languages, and more importantly the way they work and cook. I enjoyed these host nations kitchens and their sometimes peculiar staff, along with their cooking practices.

I have worked in Florida Keys, within the most beautiful surroundings. I have a real passion for the food I prepare, and for everyone I’ve ever had the pleasure to cook for. I cook food at home as if I’m in a 5 Star restaurant (I don’t know any other way) and prefer to always use fresh ingredients whilst shopping locally, as opposed to using supermarkets.
