Helen Morgan is Manager at AtHome Care Live-in Care.
Choosing the right carer is not just a practical decision. It is an emotional one. It is about personality, competence, understanding, and trust.
Our role is to offer families suitable, experienced, and reliable carers who can support their loved one with respect, warmth, and understanding, while helping them remain as comfortable and independent as possible in their own home.”
— Helen Morgan, Founder and Director
We have more than 1,500 care professionals registered across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, helping families find care wherever they are in the UK.
Our carers and personal assistants offer flexible support, including hourly visits, daily and overnight care, live-in care, companionship, personal care, transport, hospital discharge support and assisted holidays.
Through your own online dashboard, you can view selected carer profiles, compare options and involve relatives in the decision-making process. You choose the carer or care team that best suits your needs and budget, so you remain in control throughout.
AtHome Care, led by Helen Morgan, provides a personal and supportive service, taking the time to understand what matters most to you and your family.
Our introductory model is designed to be transparent and cost-effective. You pay your chosen carer directly, helping your care budget go further while giving you clarity over what the carer receives.
Once you have spoken with a carer and are ready to proceed, we can provide template agreements and guidance to help make the next steps simple and reassuring.

| The Importance Of Meal Times |

|
We encourage all live-in carers to prepare and eat with their clients at regular meal times. Many of the carers on our books prepare fresh meals from scratch and cater to a variety of dietary requirements. A carer's food is usually added to the client's weekly food shop. Our carers will always work with a client in advance where necessary to ensure dietary preferences and requirements can be catered for. |

| Activities Are So Important |
|---|
|
As a part of your care arrangement, you can request your carer to help you to continue your hobbies and interests. A carer will endeavor to support their clients according to their abilities, at home and in the community. If a client has an interest in painting for example and wishes to attend a class, a carer may accompany the client to the class and ensure they continue with their hobbies and interests to live life to the full. |
