Meet The Manager

Helen Morgan is Manager at AtHome Care Live-in Care.

Choosing the right carer is not just a practical decision. It is an emotional one. It is about personality, competence, understanding, and trust.

Our role is to offer families suitable, experienced, and reliable carers who can support their loved one with respect, warmth, and understanding, while helping them remain as comfortable and independent as possible in their own home.”

— Helen Morgan, Founder and Director

Helen Morgan

We help our clients to stay in control of their care and make their care budget go further.

AtHome Care, led by Helen Morgan, helps families across the UK find experienced, self-employed carers who suit their needs, budget and preferences. We offer a personal, supportive service and take the time to understand what matters most to you and your family.

Whether you are looking for companionship, personal care, live-in care, respite care, holiday care or more specialist support, we can help you explore all of the different options and choose the person who feels right for your family.

Our approach is designed to be cost-effective and transparent. By connecting you directly with carers and reducing large agency-style fees, we help your care budget go further. You pay your carer directly, giving clarity around what the carer receives and helping support a fair and committed care arrangement.

You remain in control throughout the process. You can take your time viewing selected carer profiles through your own easy-to-access dashboard, compare options, and choose the carer you feel most comfortable with. After you have spoken with the carer directly and are ready to proceed, we can help with template agreements and offer guidance as you navigate the next steps.

We understand that arranging care for yourself or someone you love can feel overwhelming, so our role is also to make the process feel simpler, clearer and more reassuring, while helping you find care that works for your family and within your budget.

The Importance Of Meal Times

We encourage all live-in carers to prepare and eat with their clients at regular meal times. Many of the carers on our books prepare fresh meals from scratch and cater to a variety of dietary requirements.  A carer's food is usually added to the client's weekly food shop.  Our carers will always work with a client in advance where necessary to ensure dietary preferences and requirements can be catered for.

Activities Are So Important

As a part of your care arrangement, you can request your carer to help you to continue your hobbies and interests.

A carer will endeavor to support their clients according to their abilities, at home and in the community.  If a client has an interest in painting for example and wishes to attend a class, a carer may accompany the client to the class and ensure they continue with their hobbies and interests to live life to the full.
