Meet The Manager

Lauren Tubby is Home Manager at De Lucy House.

I’ve been in care for over 10 years, supporting families like yours every day.
At De Lucy House in Diss, we know families are making big decisions about their loved ones and we’re here to help you feel confident in those choices.

One of the ways we give families peace of mind is through our Home for Life Commitment: a resident will never be asked to leave if personal funds run out. Because our focus, as a charity, is always on people, not pockets.

We make the move into care flexible, with options such as a no-obligation trial, to experience life here before making a longer-term commitment.

Our approach to care is rooted in warmth and understanding, delivered by a skilled and compassionate team who are here to support you and your loved one feel good about care, every step of the way.

Give us a call today to talk through your needs or to arrange a visit, we’d be delighted to show you around De Lucy House.

Lauren Tubby

De Lucy House is one of Diss’s leading not-for-profit care homes, providing high-quality residential, dementia, and respite care within a friendly, modern environment.

As part of Greensleeves Care, a trusted UK care charity that places people before profit, De Lucy House delivers award-winning, person-centred support. Residents benefit from flexible trial stays to help ease the move into care, along with the reassurance of Greensleeves’ ‘Home for Life’ promise, guaranteeing they will never be asked to leave if their personal funds run out.

Purpose-built with a contemporary design and a welcoming atmosphere, the home is set on the edge of the historic market town of Diss, overlooking the river and golf course in the picturesque Waveney Valley. Residents enjoy regular trips into town, pub lunches, and community activities that keep them connected and engaged.

The home offers 60 spacious, fully furnished bedrooms with ensuite wet rooms, and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their own photos and ornaments to create a sense of familiarity and comfort. A large assisted bathroom is also available for those who enjoy a relaxing soak.

A wide variety of daily activities promotes wellbeing and social connection, from arts and crafts and gentle exercise to games, entertainment, and outdoor pursuits in the garden. An onsite hair and beauty salon adds to the home’s warm, inclusive atmosphere, helping residents feel their best.

Mealtimes are a highlight of life at De Lucy House. Talented chefs prepare freshly cooked meals tailored to individual tastes and dietary needs, while summer barbecues and al fresco dining make the most of the lovely garden setting.

At De Lucy House, residents enjoy exceptional care, companionship, and comfort — all within a caring community they can truly call home.
