Marc is the Home Manager at The Fleet Care Home. Working in care for over 15 years, Marc started his career as a carer and worked up to become a qualified nurse and then on to Registered Manager. Marc has been working as a Home Manager for over 6 years and loves what he does.
Marc joined The Fleet in April 2024, and has a passion for truly Person-Centred care and delivering high standards with every service provided within the home. Marc is working hard to develop the Home and is looking forward to sharing the vision and the changes with the residents and their families in the coming months.
The Fleet is a purpose built care home located in the picturesque town of Dartmouth, Devon, offering outstanding residential, dementia, nursing and respite care for up to 79 residents.
Committed to a personalised approach, The Fleet works closely with residents and their families to create tailored care plans that reflect each individual's unique needs and preferences. Its highly skilled and compassionate team is continuously supported in developing a holistic skill set, promoting independence, dignity, and respect in every aspect of care.
Life at The Fleet is vibrant and engaging. Residents are encouraged to participate in a variety of social and recreational opportunities. The home also features a cinema room, hairdressing salon, library, the inviting Cove Bistro, and beautifully landscaped gardens, providing a comfortable and stimulating environment.
Above all, The Fleet is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where residents can feel relaxed, supported, and truly at home.

The décor and quality furnishings throughout the home have been selected with our residents in mind as part of our recent refurbishment, effortlessly combining modern and traditional styles, helping residents feel at ease, feel relaxed, happy and most importantly, feel at home. The Fleet Care Home’s en-suite rooms have all been renovated to the highest of standards, ensuring that residents have a comfortable and elegant bedroom. Our thoughtfully designed bedrooms provide comfort and allow residents to add any personal items that will enhance a comfortable setting. Each room has a single bed and an en-suite bathroom, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. If preferred, residents can personalise their rooms by incorporating personal décor. |
