Activities Are So Important

A physically active lifestyle can significantly improve people’s quality of life at all stages of dementia. Some residents enjoy sitting peacefully with their favourite carer in our lovely conservatory overlooking the garden. Others keep active with live music sessions, baking classes, sensory gardening, hair & beauty treatment and exercise sessions.

Church View has two dedicated Activities Co-ordinators who work very close with our residents and their families to develop a person centred programme of activities which are tailored around their hobbies, interests and life history. The activities staff work closely with the local community and regularly have engagements in the home as well as in the community. Activities we offer are: Therapy dog visits, entertainment, Church Services, Bingo, Cards, Arts and crafts, Cooking, School visits, Gardening and much more
