James Morris is Registered Home Manager at Claridge Place.
James joins Claridge Place with over 22 years of experience in care home management having held positions as Home Manager, General Manager, Regional Manager, and District Manager.
James has led homes that have achieved a CQC rating of 'outstanding' as well as managing care homes through changes from Requires Improvement to Good.
Claridge Place is a stunning, state-of-the-art community for seniors in the vibrant community of Olton, Solihull and is the second high-end care home to open in the Sanders Senior Living Collection.

All dining rooms are beautifully furnished and create an admirable ambience; a delight in which to enjoy your meals. We encourage socialisation and make dining an enjoyable occasion, but the option remains to take your meals in our beautiful suites if you desire. We also have a private dining room, a beautiful space where you can enjoy family celebrations in style. We have spacious areas to sit and chat or to find a cosy nook to read your favourite book or daily newspaper. The luxurious cinema is available at any time to enjoy an old favourite or the latest blockbuster. We also have dedicated viewings where we screen popular selections. |

Choice of Suites All our suites come fully furnished but are spacious enough for you to bring in some of your treasured pieces if you wish. Our Terrace suites on the ground floor all have patio doors which open onto small patios at the front of the Hall or the large garden terrace which wraps round the southern and eastern aspects. Reminiscence has several large suites with a mixture of divans and profiling beds. This floor is wide and airy with plenty of space to feel unrestricted. On the Penthouse floor, the suites are substantially larger, some over 40 square metres and have their own kitchenette for complete privacy and independence. This floor also has a bar area for enjoying a sociable evening drink with friends and family. Assisted Living / Extra Support On our Penthouse floor, some of our suites contain small kitchenettes which are suitable for people who are assessed as requiring lower levels of care. Whilst all the support is available as a standard, we do not wish to diminish the independence of someone who wishes to take care of themselves for as long as they can, just with the reassurance of having someone on hand 24 hours a day if required. |

Arts and crafts, history talks, cinema club, live entertainment and regular trips out are all available. Cinema Our 8-seater cinema can screen movies, concerts and sports matches all day long, so there is no need to queue. There is also the ability to watch religious services or favourite TV shows on the big screen in the company of others. Library The library is a lovely spot for reading the morning paper with a coffee. Just order a daily paper from our reception and we can deliver it to your room, or you can collect it from reception. Our carefully curated selection of books and games can be enjoyed in this sunny area. |
