Graysford Hall is a stunning, new, state-of-the-art community for seniors in the leafy avenues of Stoneygate in Leicester.

Purpose-built and designed to provide the sort of environment in which we’d all like to live when the time comes to consider extra support or care with exceptional equipment, technological expertise and highly trained, compassionate people on hand at any hour.

We also aim to do things a little differently to other homes in the area and promise to deliver a feeling of family, community and belonging, with the understanding that sometimes there’s nothing better than retiring to the tranquillity of your own private space and time spent with a good book or today’s pap

The moment you arrive in our chandelier-lit atrium, you will be warmly welcomed into our thriving café area which is the hub of our home. Here, you and your family can indulge in freshly baked goods, great coffee or a glass of wine. We think having a tipple when you’re with family and friends (old and new) makes conversation flow that little bit more!

If zingy, fresh fruit juices are more to your taste, we provide that too. Our all-inclusive package will ensure that you can have a little of what you fancy at any time of day.

Description

The large, beautifully decorated suites on the ground floor benefit from patio doors leading out to a furnished patio area within the grounds. There are a mix of profile beds and divan beds. Each room has its own spacious wet room.

Suites are furnished with large wardrobes and seating, with room for more furniture if desired, plus there’s a telephone and TV. We have some interconnecting rooms, suitable for couples or friends.

Choice of Suites

All our suites come fully furnished but are spacious enough for you to bring in some of your treasured pieces if you wish. Our Terrace suites on the ground floor all have patio doors which open onto small patios at the front of the Hall or the large garden terrace which wraps round the southern and eastern aspects.

Reminiscence has several large suites with a mixture of divans and profiling beds. This floor is wide and airy with plenty of space to feel unrestricted.

On the Penthouse floor, the suites are substantially larger, some over 40 square metres and have their own kitchenette for complete privacy and independence. This floor also has a bar area for enjoying a sociable evening drink with friends and family.

Assisted Living / Extra Support

On our Penthouse floor, some of our suites contain small kitchenettes which are suitable for people who are assessed as requiring lower levels of care.

Whilst all the support is available as a standard, we do not wish to diminish the independence of someone who wishes to take care of themselves for as long as they can, just with the reassurance of having someone on hand 24 hours a day if required.

The Importance Of Meal Times

Food is such an enjoyable part of life and we aim to make dining a superior experience, whether it is a three-course lunch or snacks and drinks in the café. Our Head Chef and Hospitality Team have devised a nutritious and interesting seasonal menu which will reflect the choices and dietary needs of the people that live with us.

Our chef will consult with you to discover your likes, dislikes and dietary needs which will then inform along with others, what the weekly menu will comprise. Our exemplary chef sources the best local produce seasonally, just as you would in your own home.

Bistro

The bistro is the destination of choice for most residents for a coffee and home-baked goods. The ‘lighter bites’ menu is available throughout the day for sandwiches, salads and soups if you don’t want a 3-course meal in the dining room. On sunnier days, our vast terrace near the Victorian Walled Garden is an ideal destination for sipping a cocktail or enjoying pre-dinner drinks with friends.

Coffee Lounge

A barista-style coffee is available during the day using our own carefully selected freshly ground beans or we have a menu of custom blend juices.

Activities Are So Important

Sanders Senior Living are winning a reputation for putting lifestyle as being of equal importance as personal care. Your mental wellbeing has a huge impact on your physical wellbeing. With this in mind, we devise daily plans of activity which include physical exercise, and arts and crafts. There will also be regular trips out as well as various clubs to reflect the interests of those living here, be they choir groups, walking, bridge or art clubs.

We have twice daily film showings and all of our staff sit down together at 11am when it is ‘Time for Tea’. It doesn’t have to be tea of course, if you prefer a pre-lunch sherry – but everyone sits together and shares in conversation.

There will always be a ‘Juice of the Day’ at the bar and barista-style coffee with our own Sanders ground beans is available every day.
