Head Chef, Sous Chef and Kitchen Assistant

I did three years at Worcester College gaining NVQ level 2 and level 3 in professional cookery and an NVQ level 3 in patisserie. My background is mostly pubs and restaurants, but I have also worked in bakeries, a café and a hotel so bring a wide range of knowledge of food with me. I started working for Majesticare in October 2018 as a Second Chef at Fernhill House and was lucky enough to get the Head Chef role at Cavendish Park.

Outside of work I enjoy walking my dog with my wife and spending time with my four young nephews. I am a lover of sports, especially football and basketball.

We are also excited to announce that Head Chef James Cotton has won his place in the NACC Midlands Regional Finals. The Midlands cook off's are set to take place Tuesday 17th March.

Head of Memory Care

I have worked in the care sector for over a decade, taking on roles such as Registered Manager and heading up numerous memory care communities, winning Memory Care Champion of the Year in 2017. With this, I am thrilled to be bringing my knowledge and expertise to help make the Cavendish Memory Care Community outstanding.

Here at Cavendish Park, our family of residents are incredibly special to us and we are always trying to find new ways of providing the very best in person centred care. As Memory Care Lead, I am fascinated by the life history of our residents and believe it is of the upmost importance for us to understand a resident’s background in as much detail as possible.

The Importance Of Meal Times

At Cavendish Park, we believe that good food is one of the greatest pleasures in life.

All meals and refreshments are included in our residents’ all-inclusive package, so they enjoy a choice of food options throughout the day – with breakfast ranging from fresh croissants to a full English, a varied lunch and dinner menu served with wine and a range of hot or cold dinners.

We have a variety of dining options at Cavendish Park, including a bright and airy café, formal dining areas, or residents can make use of room service. Friends and family are always welcome at meal times, and there are even private dining facilities available for those extra special occasions.

As active members of the local community, we welcome a variety of visitors to the home to share their enthusiasm, knowledge and experiences with our residents, their friends and families. Cavendish Park has its own minibus, enabling residents to take trips to places they’ve long enjoyed visiting or to explore new destinations.

Our team know exactly how to provide a fun and engaging fitness and wellbeing programme too. And, of course, family and friends are more than welcome to join in.
