Stephanie Jones is Home Manager at Tall Trees.
After training to become a registered nurse I specialised in the care of the elderly working as a nurse consultant and a modern matron running a community hospital. The nature of the work meant I later naturally progressed into the management of care homes, ensuring high standards of care. Residents deserve a high standard of care and support which is something I am passionate about, as a result I ensure all policies and procedures are followed. These help me provide a highly skilled team that can enhance the lives of our residents, so they lead a happy and fulfilled life whilst maintaining choice over the care and support they receive.
Tall Trees Care Home in Chipping Norton, can be found in the beautiful village of Shipton-under-Wychwood in Oxfordshire. We provide personalised nursing, dementia and residential care, for up to 60 elderly residents, including long-term care, trial stays, short-stay and convalescent care.
Built from local Cotswold stone and finished to very high standards, Tall Trees reflects the rural beauty of our surroundings. It is a striking building, centred on a stone courtyard, with a fantastic position overlooking the village cricket ground and wildflower meadows.
A key aspect of our care provision is gaining a detailed understanding of the person we are caring for. We work with each resident, their family and friends, to ensure we fully understand their unique history. This enables us to plan care, support and daily activities, that are based around each resident’s unique individual needs.

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
