Activities Are So Important

Happiness and harmony are at the heart of life at our home. Our dedicated Wellbeing & Lifestyle Lead ensures that every resident enjoys a nurturing and stimulating environment, where both residents and staff feel supported and engaged.

We encourage activities that promote physical and mental wellbeing, but we don’t believe in waiting for a set schedule or an Activities Coordinator to dictate participation. Our team takes a collective approach, supporting residents to continue their hobbies or explore new leisure pursuits whenever they wish.

Our programme combines enjoyable and therapeutic activities designed to keep residents physically active, mentally stimulated, and socially connected. Working closely with our Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coach, each resident benefits from a Personalised Wellbeing Programme, reviewed every four weeks. This programme takes into account medical history, past employment, personal interests, social activities, and current levels of physical and mental ability, ensuring a lifestyle that is both supportive and enriching.

Wellbeing also encompasses self-esteem, confidence, and self-care. Our Wellbeing Salon helps residents relax, feel revitalised, and regain confidence through weekly treatments. Additionally, all our Homemakers are trained to provide luxury hand massages, helping residents unwind and relieve stress.

To further support independence and overall wellbeing, we offer mobility classes that improve strength, flexibility, and range of movement, promoting confidence and a real sense of achievement.
