Patrick Murphy is Home Manager at Rowan Garth Care Home.
Patrick, a Registered Nurse has had a long career in healthcare. He began as a Healthcare Assistant at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital before completing his nurse training at Liverpool John Moores University.
"My passion for supporting older people led me into the private care sector in the North West, where I progressed from Clinical Lead Nurse to Registered Home Manager.
Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of leading a large, complex nursing home delivering dementia nursing, general nursing, an NHS step-down unit, and dementia residential care. During this time, the service achieved a “Good” rating in all key areas with the CQC and “Excellent” with the local authority.
I’m now proud to be supporting Rowan Garth, with a clear focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred care and achieving the same strong outcomes."
Not far from Liverpool city centre, amidst the beautiful scenery of the peaceful community of Anfield, Rowan Garth is a purpose-built residential nursing home offering a range of both long and short-term residency options.
Our Christian values underpin everything we do in our person-centred approach to healthcare, in which we create custom care plans tailored to each client’s individual needs and wants. We like to see your new residency as the start of an exciting new chapter, and as such, we believe that all care should be designed around a broader family and friends-informed plan, and focused on improving not just longevity of life, but quality of life. We all have a gift to share with the world, and that gift is who we are. So we invite you to live here as an expression of your true self, so that you can continue to live with dignity, integrity and the level of independence you need.
