Meet The Manager

Karen Temple is Home Director at Bramshott Grange.

I started my nurse training in 1979. After qualifying I then went to work at Frimley Park hospital working on the Day & Emergency ward. In 2000 I did a conversion course to RMN, and qualified in 2001. I have been managing care homes for 10 years, working with small family business and the corporate companies. Although my career has been very diverse, working in the NHS as a staff nurse, and then as a ward sister, I have always been drawn back towards the older person, dementia, and palliative care. I am very passionate about the delivery of care that is given in the home. I firmly believe that life should not stop because someone lives in a care home, therefore everyone living the care home should be supported and respected of their preferences and wishes. My days off are spent with my husband and grandchildren, and taking my 2 dachshund dogs for long walks.
