I have been the registered Home Manager at Karuna Manor since February 2017. I am pleased to be leading an exceptional team who are dedicated to delivering excellent person-centred care and we are proud to be rated Good in all areas by CQC.

I have a vast experience in clinical care, with the last 25 years specialising in elderly care. I am passionate about supporting my team members and I am most fulfilled when I enjoy spending time with our residents who love to enjoy a chat and a chuckle.

The beautiful and tastefully decorated home offers an inviting homely environment, maintained to a high standard, with stunning landscaped gardens, easily accessible with thoughtful all year around planting.

Seating and lounge areas throughout the home offer company or quiet places to enjoy with guests and visitors and in addition to the fully en-suite rooms and spacious lounges and dining areas, the home also has unrivaled facilities, including a temple, a Yagna Shala, a hair and beauty salon, a boutique shop, a Japanese water garden and an in-house cinema.

The home caters specifically for the vegetarian community, with award-winning in-house chefs freshly preparing delicious Gujarati food offering a range of choice throughout.

Good communication is at the heart of providing great care, so as well as English, Gujarati and Hindi are also spoken at the home.

I have been at Karuna Manor since it first opened its doors in 2015. I joined the team as Admin and Finance Manager and seized the opportunity to develop my role and contribution to the home in a position working closely with residents and their families.

As the Hotel Services Manager, I oversee the hospitality, catering and wellbeing offering in the home and I thoroughly enjoy being so involved in providing the residents at Karuna Manor with an exceptional level of service and lifestyle activities.
