Gemma Vaughan

Welcome to Bentley Manor Care Home located just north of Crewe town centre. The home is ideally placed for the local community and those coming from Leighton Hospital and the surrounding areas. This very popular purpose built care home is spacious and modern and provides residential and nursing care and as well as care for those who suffer the impact of dementia on their lives and other mental health issues.

The well trained, experienced and dedicated team are able to ensure such high levels of care because of the individual, tailor made care plans which are written in order to ensure that every detail of an individual’s care is recorded. Such ‘person centeredness’ is how the home achieves its high standards of quality of care. The value of such an approach cannot be understated.

Home cooked menus are on offer to residents and their visitors. Meals are cooked by our own chefs at the home, with resident favourite meals reflected in menu choices. Start the day with a cooked breakfast if you wish, or be tempted with traditional meals and desserts. Good food is very important and our chefs enjoy tempting residents to eat and drink well.

My name is Andrada and I have been part of Bentley Manor Care Home since 2016 when I started working as a nurse on Meadow unit.

Being part of a great team has allowed me to grow and develop and in 2018 I become the Unit Manager.

I have received fantastic support from the company and managers for my personal and professional development and have been enrolled on various training programmes to advance my leadership skills and one of them is " NVQ Level 5 diploma in leadership and management".

In 2020, I become Clinical Lead for all the units, trying to improve and work together with the team to be outstanding.

In 2021, I become the Deputy Manager for the home.

Here at Bentley you will find a supportive team, caring staff and high level of care delivered to our residents.

Michele Harrison
Michele Harrison
Administrator

Hello there,

My name is Michele and I am the Home Administrator at Bentley Manor Care Home.

I have over 20 years’ experience working in Finance and Accounts. I joined the Bentley Manor family as a Care Assistant in June 2015, after I had been made redundant and I wanted to try something new. I had a background in care, as I had cared for my Dad, who had lived with dementia for several years. I settled in well and enjoyed caring for our lovely residents. A year later, the Administrator job was advertised, and I have never looked back.

There are many aspects to my role, from Recruitment and Payroll, to Resident Accounts, Funding and Contracts. I feel my previous experience enables me to empathise with family members and give them reassurance, during what can be a worrying time for all involved.

At the heart of my job, will always be the Best Interest of our residents.

I am proud of my achievements and thankful to Harbour for training and higher learning opportunities.

I enjoy working in this organisation, with other forward thinking people who share the same goal!
