Meet The Manager
Ann-Marie Miles is Manager at Balgowan Nursing Home.
Ann-Marie qualified as a State Enrolled Nurse in 1983 and later as a Registered General Nurse in 2002, gaining extensive clinical and management experience within the NHS across both hospital and district nursing environments.
She was appointed Registered Manager of Balgowan House in May 2018, having previously held the position of Registered Manager at another care home in Kent.
Ann-Marie’s time at Balgowan House has been incredibly rewarding. She is proud to work alongside a dedicated and compassionate team and values the strong relationships she has built with residents and their families.

Balgowan House Residential and Nursing home is located close to the picturesque Saltwood Village Green, in Hythe Kent.
Balgowan House was originally built over 100 years ago as an impressive family house. The building now provides a warm and friendly environment for our residents to reside.
A welcoming lounge and large conservatory area offers a comfortable, family feel.
The outside area is a beautiful courtyard, with flower pots, tables and chairs and tranquillity for the residents to relax and enjoy.

Balgowan House is a well-established nursing home located close to the centre of Saltwood village near Hythe in Kent. The building has recently been extended and refurbished (completed 2016) to provide warm, welcoming and comfortable accommodation for up to forty residents. |
