Kimberley Lord is Care Home Manager at Fleetwood Hall.
Kimberley Lord is the Registered Home Manager of Fleetwood Hall Care Home. She joined in 2019 and has extensive experience in the care sector.
She started work in care at a young age as a care assistant for people with learning difficulties. Over the following years, she has gained invaluable experience working across a range of care related roles to include the management of large scale and complex operations.
"The role of Home Manager at Fleetwood Hall fills me with immense pride. As part of the Sandstone Care management team, I am thrilled to contribute to providing unparalleled care and support to our residents. It's a privilege to play a part in shaping services and assistance for our elderly community, ensuring they receive the quality of care we would all desire if faced with diminished independence. Witnessing the joy and laughter of our residents is truly the most rewarding aspect of my work."
Situated just a short stroll from the sweeping Lancashire coastline, Fleetwood Hall is a welcoming and purpose-built care home that offers high-quality residential and dementia care in the heart of the Fleetwood community. With a “Good” rating from the Care Quality Commission (January 2022), the home is recognised for its dedicated care, supportive environment and strong community connections.
Fleetwood Hall provides accommodation for up to 62 residents, each enjoying the comfort and privacy of their own en-suite bedroom. The home is thoughtfully arranged over two floors, with general residential care on the ground floor and a specialist dementia household on the first floor. Residents benefit from spacious communal lounges, dining areas, and access to enclosed gardens designed to offer a safe and peaceful outdoor retreat.
The care team at Fleetwood Hall is made up of passionate professionals, including care practitioners, activity coordinators, housekeeping and catering staff, all working under the experienced leadership of the Home Manager. Every member of the team plays a role in creating a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are treated with respect and compassion. Fleetwood Hall is supported by the local PCN Care Home Team, offering clinical input and daily health-related support when needed. Spiritual needs are respected and met through weekly Communion.
An engaging programme of daily activities is led by the dedicated coordinators, encouraging residents to remain active, stimulated and socially connected. Events, themed days and celebrations are part of life at Fleetwood Hall, with support from community partners such as Fleetwood Town Football Club, the local Community Trust, and a nearby primary school.

Sandstone Care Group are working closely with Public Health, Local Authorities, and the Care Quality Commission to implement all guidelines regarding the coronavirus pandemic. We carefully follow guidance from Public Health England and Wales combined with the Care Quality Commission, Care Inspectorate Wales and the Local Authority for information. Residents and families are kept up to date through regular contact with our home managers. Our staff have all received the relevant specialist training on infection control. Our homes have increased the frequency of sanitation including high frequency touchpoints. Our housekeepers have received additional training and guidance and, along with their existing cleaning schedules, using commercial grade quality cleaning products, they will continue to keep our homes clean and safe. Staff arrive in their own clothes and change into a clean uniform on site. |
