Meet The Manager

Clare Biggins is the Manager at Arbory Residential Home.

Clare has a real passion for care: I have always been interested in care and started my role as a support worker over 20 years ago. Dementia has always been of great interest to me, supporting both residents and family’s that join us in our home is our main goal as a team through what has for the whole family been the hardest decision to make.

Arbory Residential Home is located in the heart of rolling English countryside in Hampshire. Home to 60 full-time residents, the bespoke environment is tailored to ensure that our residents can live life to the full.

Coate Water Care operate electronic care planning and medication administration systems. This gives relatives peace of mind that everything is being managed as it should be and that care planning and care delivery achieve the highest possible standards.

Coate Water Care invest heavily in staff training and development. We encourage and support staff to progress within the company. We achieved National Care Association “Member of the Year” in 2019, partly due to our staff training and development programmes

Activities Are So Important

Arbory’s full-time Activities Coordinator leads a stimulating programme of events tailored to the capabilities and preferences of each individual resident. Every morning our staff get the residents moving using seated physical activities and through the day residents can participate in musical bingo, gardening, baking, flower-arranging and needlework, whilst professional musicians or scheduled film nights provide light entertainment. Outings are an important part of the activities programme and our wheelchair-friendly minibus means that no-one is left at home, whether it’s for a picnic around the lake, a visit to the garden centre or a meal at the local pub.
