Meet The Manager

Lyndsey Dixon is Manager at Whittington House Nursing Home.

As the Registered Manager of Whittington House Nursing Home, I lead a professional team in providing the highest standards of residential and nursing care for residents with varying needs. Our commitment ensures they lead happy and fulfilling lives, whilst maintaining choice over the care and support they receive.

I am a qualified Nurse with a degree in Specialist Practice for Oncology and Palliative Care as well as in depth knowledge of dementia care. During my career I have worked at Cheltenham and Bristol hospitals, as a ward sister in a local hospice, and as Manager of a Dementia Nursing Home.

I feel very fortunate to be in a post which gives me such fulfilment and which enables me to bring my confidence, knowledge, experience and skills to Caring Homes and my team, who in turn are enabled and encouraged to give the best care and support they can to our residents and their families.

safe-tick Virus Testing We are testing for viral infection when symptoms present within our care setting.
Safe Visiting Space
safe-tick We have a safe visiting space

We have fantastic areas for people to visit their loved ones safely.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
