Wellbeing Lead

Hello, my name is Vicki and I am the Well-being lead at Waterfield House Care Home. I have worked at the home since 2018, and my favourite thing about being a part of this team is 100% the residents.

I like to have a person-centred approach to well-being as it is important to tailor activities and well-being to each individual's set of circumstances. I really enjoy looking through old photos of the residents and hearing their stories to learn all I can.

Well-being is important because it combats isolation and has a real impact on making a difference to their lives. I always make sure I am there for them with love and support. Well-being goes beyond everyday activities, it is about empowerment and supporting residents to live the life that they wish to lead.
