Ajitha Pillai has been the Registered Manager of the Home since 2012. Previous to this, she was one of our Registered Nurse's and her hard work and passion for high quality care saw her quickly progressing to the award-wining Registered Manager she is today.
Here at The White House Nursing Home in New Malden in Surrey, we specialise in providing quality nursing care for the elderly. Our philosophy is to create a secure, happy and homely atmosphere for our valued residents and staff.
Our 30 bed nursing home comprises of individually and beautifully decorated rooms equipped with a range of facilities that include ceiling hoists, 24 hour call-bell systems, digital TV as well as wi-fi. We are registered to care for a range of nursing needs and provide exceptional, personalised standards of care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Our 30 bed nursing home is fully equipped and registered to care for a range of nursing needs and provides exceptional, personalised standards of care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All residents have access to comfortable and pleasant communal lounge, dining and outside space. All rooms are fully equipped with a range of facilities including ceiling hoists, 24 hour call-bell systems, digital TV as well as wi-fi. The New Nursing floor which opened in Jan 2013 comprises of 6 individually and beautifully decorated fully equipped rooms. There is also a hair salon and a cosy lounge with tea and coffee making facilities situated on this floor. The White House researches the very-best nursing equipment to ensure the comfort and safety of our residents. We have the latest profiling nursing beds, moving and handling equipment, pressure-relieving equipment and large spacious bathrooms and showers. |

Activities can contribute to the integrity of an individual's health and wellness which is why Social interaction and engagement is an integral part of life at TWHNH. Our activity programme comprises of scrabble mornings, flower arranging mornings, trips out and enjoying our entertainment programme of live shows & performances. The White House Nursing Home also has its own transport with wheelchair access providing residents with increased independence and choice of activities. Residents regularly enjoy trips to Richmond Park, Garsons Farm, local shops and other local events. We make a special effort to ensure that birthdays and anniversaries are celebrated in style with a homemade cake. Special occasions including Christmas, Easter, New Years, Diwali, Chinese New Year, St Patrick’s Day, St George’s Day e.t.c are always a reason for a party. National and international events such as Royal Weddings, Jubilees and Olympic Games are celebrated with plenty of pomp and ceremony. Families are always welcome to come and join in with the celebrations. We also have our own visiting hairdresser as well as regular visits from a chiropodist should the residents wish to make use of these extra facilities. |
