Meet The Manager

Yvonne Tsiga is General Manager at The Kensington Care Home.

Whether for short stays or moving in to start a new chapter of life, residents come to us here in Notting Hill for a wide range of care including convalescence, dementia and Parkinson’s.

Our comfortable home is set in an elegant period house, in a spot so peaceful that it’s hard to believe we’re in the heart of London. A favourite feature is our amazing conservatory where residents have their meals which are prepared by our own chefs with a hostess service.

Residents can always choose how to spend their time, perhaps enjoying a little flower-arranging or a gentle stroll in the garden before sitting down to a delicious lunch with friends or loved ones.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Activities Are So Important

There’s no typical day at The Kensington, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.

Residents can keep active by participating in Tai Chi or yoga, where classical music is used.

With music therapy, hymn singing with a local church, and visits from big-band jazz entertainers, music is a big influence at the home.

London has many activities to do such as the cinema, museums, art galleries, parks, shops, and Kensington Palace.
