Meet The Manager

Jessica Salway is General Manager at Rothsay Grange.

My name is Jessica and I am the General Manager here at Rothsay Grange.

I am a registered mental health nurse and have varied experience within mental health settings. Before I qualified, I worked within an elderly care environment and have returned, as it is something I have always enjoyed.

My aim is to create a safe and homely setting for all residents within the home and to promote high quality care.

Music Therapist

I am the Music Therapist here at Rothsay Grange and West Abbey Care Home.

After graduating from the prestigious, four-year Heidelberg Music Therapy course, I worked in Germany, Switzerland and Canada before settling down with my family in Somerset.

I am passionate about delivering music therapy, which is fun and empowering. I also supervise postgraduate students studying music therapy in the UK who are on placement. Residents enjoy the variety of musicianship the volunteers bring and share.
