Claudia Nunes is Manager at Flowerdown Care Home.
"Prior to starting this position, I have worked in healthcare for over 7 years, and I have been with Barchester since 2020. I have experience in the hospital acute setting as a sister and in management in the private sector.
Myself and my amazing team will continue to deliver the highest quality of care and nursing to all of our residents, as well as support their families and friends.
Please do not hesitate to contact me or visit us here at Flowerdown. I am more than happy to discuss the needs you may have for yourself or your loved one and show you around our lovely home and team."
At Flowerdown Care Home, we offer high-quality residential, nursing and respite care in a warm and friendly environment. The home is positioned just two miles north of the historic city of Winchester in Harestock. There is easy access to the city centre, where you’ll find the cathedral, shops, restaurants, and the train station.
When you arrive at Flowerdown, we’ll sit down together to understand you, your life story and your needs. This includes any objectives you have or specific health concerns. We’ll then create a personal care plan together with you, your relatives and our carers.
Our staff are a diverse group from different backgrounds and with different roles, but we all share a fundamental commitment – every single one of us is passionate about care.

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
