Nicky Bickerstaffe is Care Home Manager at Richmond Village Letcombe Regis Care Home.
With over a decade of leadership experience in the care sector, Nicky brings not just knowledge, but also stability to the team. “There’s room to grow here, and I’m looking forward to being part of that transformation.”
So far, the highlight of her role has been connecting with the residents. “Meeting the residents has been my favourite part. There was a lovely event recently ‘Glamorous Grannies’ and seeing everyone so engaged and celebrated was a really special moment.”
Looking ahead, Nicky is eager to focus on improving the quality of care through smarter working. “It’s about reviewing current practices and making things easier and more effective for the carers. When we support our team well, our residents benefit too.”
