Our Building and Facilities

Our home focuses on friendly and social living within a peaceful setting. There are a variety of lounges for residents to relax in and our lovingly tended garden wraps its way around the building.

The home itself was converted from a former private girls’ school so we have plenty of rooms for residents to make use of.

We have on on site bar which is simply the best place to catch up with friends and family.

Our cafe and restaurant are always offering top quality food and drinks.

We also have an on site salon which has an excellent selection of hair and beautician treatments.

There’s no typical day at Queensmount, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.

Keep yourself active and healthy:

To help our residents keep active there are regular gentle exercise session that they are encouraged to participate in.

Our regular boat trips help to show our residents a completely different side of nature.

See the sights and sounds of the coast:

As we’re so close to the seaside we often take residents on regular outings in good summer weather.

We also organise pub style quiz nights, have regular school and church visits and enjoy animal therapy sessions.
