Meet The Manager

Tina Parisi is Registered Manager at Pine Lodge Care Home.

I started in care in 1994 when I applied for a job as a carer in the community. This is where my love of helping and supporting the elderly started. Due to the company closing, I then applied for another company that also done community care and was lucky enough to meet the manager of the company that asked me if I would be interested in working in the office as a co-ordinator, which I accepted.

Working in that position taught me a great deal and led me to working my way up the ladder. After 2 years, I had become the deputy manager and then, after completing my level 5 NVQ became manager.

Having contributed 12 years in this position, I wanted to go back to a resident facing role and took a job in a care home for the first time as a senior care lead. Here I am now, the registered manager of Pine Lodge and very happy in the role I have been entrusted with and intend to execute my duties to the best of my experience, knowledge and abilities.

We are extremely proud to announce that Pine Lodge is now joining the Eleanor Care Home's portfolio.

Pine Lodge, located in Kent, provides care for the elderly and people with dementia. In addition to permanent care, respite care is also offered for people suffering from Parkinson's disease. Pine Lodge has been carefully designed to provide a warm, safe and happy environment for our residents.

Activities Are So Important

At Pine Lodge, we firmly believe that the body and the mind are very closely linked and that keeping the body active, even for those who are perhaps less mobile than they once were, can also do wonders for their state of mind. As such, we have an Activities Co-Ordinator on the team, whose role it is to run a programme of pastimes to stimulate both body and mind.
