My aims are to provide whole-person care by addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our residents. As a home we aim to provide the highest quality of care in a secure, happy and homely environment. The care, comfort and well – being of the residents is of paramount importance to me and my team.

Recently renovated, the home’s bespoke design features high-quality and comfortable surroundings, bright attractive communal areas and lovely gardens, while at the same time having a uniquely friendly feel.

There is a comfortable lounge and a dining room that overlooks the garden. There is also a bistro area and a family room which has a computer with internet access for residents and visitors. There are also regular visits by a hairdresser and chiropodist.

There are a total of 41 single rooms, nearly all of which have en-suite facilities. Although each room is fully furnished to a high standard, residents are encouraged to bring in personal items such as pictures, ornaments and small items of furniture. The rooms are also equipped with a call bell system and TV point.

All our staff believe passionately that our residents and their families are involved in all the important decisions about the home.  That is why we have residents and families on every committee meeting and decision group ensuring that their wishes are properly represented.

The home is such a caring and welcoming place, something that you feel from the moment you walk in.  Visitors always say how happy the residents are and how relaxed they feel not just when they walk into the home but crucially when they go home after visiting their loved ones.
