Activities Are So Important

Life is always fun at Netley Court. Residents can join in with a host of activities from Wednesday Wallflowers and Tiffin Tuesday to Steady and Strong exercise classes.

Having our own transport opens up opportunities for days out to the many local attractions in and around the quaint village of Netley, with its traditional shops, tea rooms and rows of colourful terraces that run across the shore. Whether it’s a few lengths in the local swimming pool, a visit to Royal Victoria Park, or a quiet stroll around Netley Abbey and the adjoining Yacht Club, every single outing – spontaneous or planned – is arranged to keep our residents feeling stimulated, connected and happy.

There’s always something different happening here at Netley Court – a visit from the Longdown Farm animals, a mother and baby group spending time with our residents, or one of our countless Dementia Awareness events. Fun and friendship can always be found in equal measure, for example our Gentlemen’s Club, which grows in popularity every month as residents and locals gather to share in good wine and sherry over a delicious two-course meal.
