Kestrel Grove Care Home in Bushey Heath is a grand mansion house set within five acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, where traditional elegance, luxury, and outstanding care go hand-in-hand. The principal mansion was formerly the headquarters of Fighter Command at Stanmore and still has an impressive reception hall with ornate balustrades and a domed skylight.

Offering premium nursing, residential, dementia, and respite care for up to 60 residents, Kestrel Grove is a true home away from home for our residents. Our dedicated staff truly go above and beyond to ensure that every day offers comfort, companionship, and a variety of activities and entertainment to suit every taste.

At Kestrel Grove Care Home, residents and visitors can enjoy a variety of beautifully designed communal spaces. Our elegant and spacious lounge and dining room have been recently refurbished to create a bright and inviting atmosphere. We also offer a charming sun lounge with a conservatory, as well as a peaceful quiet lounge for moments of relaxation.


Our principal mansion, set within 5 acres of meticulously landscaped gardens, was once the headquarters of Fighter Command at Stanmore. Today it provides a serene and unique setting, complete with an ornamental pond at the foot of the main lawn—an ideal spot for residents and families to enjoy the outdoors.

We offer a full range of accommodation and care services, including 24-hour nursing care, residential care, respite stays, and convalescence support. All of our bedrooms are tastefully decorated, and residents benefit from access to a variety of facilities and amenities that encourage them to continue enjoying favourite hobbies or explore new interests.

At Kestrel Grove, we combine high-quality care with an enriching and active lifestyle, supporting the health, comfort, and well-being of every resident.

Kestrel Grove is registered to provide care for 60 Residents.

All rooms have television points and televisions will be provided should you not bring your own.

Satellite points and a facility is provided in the Main House subject to request. You will be required to organise your own Sky installation if you do not already have a service.

All rooms have telephone points and can be connected on request.

Residents are encouraged to bring items of their own furniture and furnishings, in order to personalise their rooms. All items brought into the home must comply with fire resistance requirements as laid down by the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988.
