Meet The Manager

Monika Gilice is Registered Care Manager at Kestrel Grove Care Home.

I have been working for Kestrel Grove as a manager since 2012. I call Kestrel my home not only because I live on site with my small family, but because I truly feel this place is my home. I have worked here prior to my appointment as a deputy manager and I always knew I will be back one day. I qualified as a nurse in Hungary and I moved to the UK in 2004. I gained extensive experience in elderly dementia care as well as palliative care. I lead the team of nurses here at kestrel grove to provide the best possible care from basic nursing to complex care needs.

Welcome to Kestrel Grove Care Home, a grand mansion house set within five acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, where traditional elegance, luxury and outstanding care go hand-in-hand. The principle mansion was formerly headquarters of Fighter Command at Stanmore and has an impressive reception hall with ornate balustrades and a domed skylight.

Offering premium Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care for up to 60 residents, Kestrel Grove is a true home away from home for our residents. Our dedicated staff truly go above and beyond to ensure every day offers comfort, companionship and a variety of activities and entertainment to suit every taste.
