Shabana Hullemuth is Home Manager at Hill House Nursing Home.
I have over 20 years experience in nursing and care management. My values and passions have been consistent from the start. I pride myself on the quality and high standard of care we give, which I feel that every person deserves. My approach is person- centred, based on each individual resident's needs and preferences. One of the things I enjoy as a manager is seeing our residents happy, receiving fantastic care and service.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed over 5 years so far at Hill House, especially due to having a wonderful, friendly and very strong team who help to support me in delivering great care. This is why I believe Hill House is a truly special place to live and work.
For over 50 years, the Lee family has been committed to delivering the highest quality of compassionate care. Hill House offers exceptional nursing, dementia, palliative, respite & rehabilitation care and is rated Outstanding for Caring by CQC and good overall.
Our beautiful purpose built home offers 56 luxurious, spacious ensuite bedrooms across 3 floors. With beautiful landscaped gardens, a variety of communal lounges, full care spa bathrooms and unique large lightwells to allow light to fill the home.
We maintain a high staff-to-resident ratio of 1 care staff per 3.5 residents and never use agency staff, allowing us to provide consistent, personalised care and build lasting relationships with residents and their families.
Life at Hill House is about more than excellent clinical care. Residents live their lives well with us and are encouraged to remain active, healthy and happy through weekly physiotherapy sessions, varied activities programme 7 days a week, seasonal menus chosen by our residents and regular events and celebrations.
Everyone at Hill House works to ensure that the residents remain comfortable, well cared for and enjoy living at Hill House.
