Good Companions is our second home, which we opened in 2011, and since then it has been fully renovated and beautifully refurbished with all rooms having en-suite bathrooms. It houses our friendly Day Care Centre where we offer a range of activities and the very best in Dementia Care.

Every day, our Activity Co-ordinators plan things for residents to do that improve and stimulate all areas of their lives. Activities such as baking, flower arranging, painting, crafts and jigsaws, take place regularly. We also take time to learn about our residents’ existing hobbies and interests, and where possible, aim to include these in the activities programme. |

Whilst we adore animals, unfortunately, we are unable to accept them into the home due to saftey reasons. We also need to appreciate that not all people love animals and some have allergies. We do however, have other our staffs pets to visit or we have a number of organisations bring in theirs. We have had anything from reptiles to ponies. |
