As the Registered Manager, I am responsible for overseeing the complete care process for our residents, starting from the preadmission phase. My primary goal is to ensure that each resident’s care journey begins with a strong foundation, allowing us to deliver personalized, compassionate, and high-quality care.

Our luxurious, architect-designed home is set within the friendly retirement community of Emerson Park, in its own beautifully landscaped gardens. With its airy communal spaces and two lifts big enough to accommodate wheelchairs, it offers 78 spacious, well-appointed en-suite rooms, seven of which are for couples. Every floor has a comfortable lounge where you can catch up with guests or fellow residents and a sociable dining room where you can sample our delicious menu of seasonal, home-cooked food and enjoy a glass of wine or two. In addition, there’s a cosy café area near reception. You can keep fit in our brand new gym and relax after your workout in the spa bathroom. There’s a hair and beauty salon if you feel like being pampered, or simply unwind with a good film in our cinema room. Take part in the wide variety of engaging activities offer for your entertainment in our numerous lounges and green-fingered residents have a dedicated gardening area where they can pursue their passion. Emerson Grange offers a choice of wonderfully appointed en-suite bedrooms plus a limited number of one bedroom Care Suites designed with couples in mind or for those looking for more space and privacy. The luxurious rooms have been designed and fitted out to the very highest standards with every detail carefully thought out to ensure maximum convenience and comfort. The rooms are spacious and bright, fully furnished with an electric profiling bed, TV, WiFi, telephone, and an en-suite wet room. Whilst the room is beautifully furnished and decorated we do encourage residents to bring some of their own ornaments and pictures to make the room their own. To meet the aspirations and wishes of today’s older generation Emerson Grange have a small selection of Care Suites, many with direct access to outside space. The Care Suites are fully furnished luxurious one bedroom apartments but with the reassurance that care and support is on hand 24-hours a day. The Care Suites include an en-suite bedroom, lounge and kitchenette and although developed with couples in mind, are ideal for those who are looking for more space and privacy than a traditional care bedroom |
