Helen Lewis is Interim Manager at Woodcroft.
Helen has been employed by Hafod since 2008, starting her career in care as a Community Domiciliary care worker. Then progressed to a senior role, after completing her level 5 in Health and Social Care progressed to a Team Leader position and was part of the team setting up Ty Cwm Extra Care scheme in Merthyr Tydfil.
In that time, Helen has always looked to progress and has continued to attend training courses to support her development and knowledge. In 2019 she joined the operations team as Deputy Operations Manager. In December 2021 she became the Regional Manager for Domiciliary Care.
Woodcroft Care Home is a purpose-built modern care home for over 55s on the outskirts of Cardiff, south Wales. We focus on giving a great quality of life to our residents, whatever their abilities and needs.
Our specially trained team are on hand day and night to provide tailored care to our residents, including residential care and specialist care for those living with dementia.
We pride ourselves on providing a happy, friendly and vibrant environment that lets residents be as independent or involved as they choose to be.

Each floor has two small communities of people with a communal lounge and dining area available. We also have a number of other communal areas across the home including a ground floor café, ground floor bar area, small accessible cinema area and lovely external gardens. |

Our 60 bedrooms are bright, airy, comfortable and generously sized. Each room has a private en-suite, complete with a sink, toilet, and easy-access shower. Residents are encouraged to bring along some personal possessions so that they can really make their rooms their own. |
