She consistently upholds and drives high standards within the home by maintaining a strong presence, ensuring she is approachable and available to residents, visitors, and staff alike. Rachel is deeply committed to delivering person‑centred care and goes out of her way to make certain that high-quality support is provided at all times. She takes great pride in spending meaningful time with residents to understand what matters most to them.

Our Building and Facilities

At Tigh-Na-Muirn we offer a range of excellent quality facilities and a number of sumptuously decorated reception rooms to ensure our guests are comfortable and always have a choice as to how they spend their time. Tigh-Na-Muirn is split between the main building and our garden wing.

In the main building, we have a wood panelled dining room and a main lounge with a beautiful Adam style fireplace where guests can make themselves completely at home. Upstairs, we have a reception room which fills up with sunlight during the day.

Our in house salon provides hairdressing and a full range of beauty therapy services, including podiatry. We also provide a dry cleaning service and regularly organize eye checks with a visiting optician.

Description

Tigh-Na-Muirn has 56 bedrooms with private double and single suites available. The individually decorated bedrooms overlook the picturesque grounds and surround a large conservatory where the sunlight floods in. Our elderly residents can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our central bar area, as well as the peace and tranquillity of our stunning surroundings.

At Tigh-Na-Muirn one to one interaction with guests is considered as important as group activities in maintaining general wellbeing. Our activities team are dedicated to supporting all of our residents from the moment they arrive.

We strive to give our residents a very high quality of life, and enrich them in both body and spirit. The activities team play a vital role in the daily lives of all our guests. Our team consists of three dedicated coordinators who work closely with residents in organising a selection of daily activities and events.
