Meet The Manager

Elaine Adams is Operations Manager at The Leys Residential Home.

Elaine Adams is our Operations Manager and brings over 35 years of experience in the care sector. Throughout her career, she has shown a deep commitment to high-quality, compassionate care, including many years of dedicated service at The Leys.

Outside of work, she enjoys heading to Malvern for getaways at her holiday home, making the most of her weekends away. She loves spending time with her family and her much-loved dog, Bella, and values the balance these moments bring to her life.

The Leys welcomes older residents with physical and mental health needs but not requiring nursing care. At the heart of The Leys' person-centred approach is a simple philosophy endorsed by all of the staff: to provide care the way that they would wish for their own relatives.

The Leys aims to provide care in an environment that looks and feels like a home away from home. They believe this is why most of their residents come to them through the personal recommendations of people who know the home.

Detailed care plans are developed in a fully transparent manner and updated regularly to ensure that the best and most appropriate care is provided for each individual. They welcome the input of family and friends of individuals in their care and welcome visitors at any time.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Independent Assessments We have been independently assessed in our approach to infection control.
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
safe-tick Infection Screening We are using technology to screen for infections & monitor symptoms.
safe-tick Virus Testing We are testing for viral infection when symptoms present within our care setting.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
