Farai Hanyane is Home Manager at Statham Manor Care Centre.
From the very first day Statham Manor opened its doors, I’ve had the incredible privilege of being part of its journey. Building a team that radiates compassion, professionalism, and joy in delivering truly person-centred care has been one of my proudest achievements. We’re not just caregivers—we’re companions, advocates, and a second family to our elders. I’ve also held regional roles overseeing care homes across Wales, Scotland, and England, which gave me a broader perspective on excellence in care. At Statham Manor, we empower our residents to live with dignity and purpose. Outside of work, I’m all about adventure and challenge. Whether I’m pushing limits at a CrossFit gym, scaling a mountain trail, or exploring new cultures - having visited over 26 countries so far - I believe in living life with energy, curiosity, and heart.

Lymm is also close to some fascinating stately homes and gardens, including National Trust-owned Dunham Massey, and Tatton Park in nearby Knutsford. Both are home to herds of deer and excellent tearooms, while Tatton also has its own farm with donkeys, sheep, and goats. Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden in nearby Warrington is also worth a visit.
