Helen is an experienced home manager with over 25 years of experience in caring for the elderly. Helen has been the manager at Old Gates since 2019 and loves supporting and caring for residents in the home. She uses her knowledge and experience to motivate her team to deliver care and support in a way that Residents gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home. She enjoys working with her Colleagues and being a relaxed and proactive manager who motivates others to be the best they can be. She also has a special interest in caring for those living with dementia.
Situated in the peaceful residential area of Feniscowles in Blackburn, Old Gates is a friendly care home, offering residential, nursing and nursing dementia care. Assessments are carried out prior to Residents moving into the home and a detailed person-centred care plan is formulated which is reviewed and updated on a regular basis.
