Gemma Ridout-Bowden is General Manager at Mornington Court.
As a Senior General Manager, I feel privileged to be looking after people’s loved ones and ensuring each resident receives the best possible care suited to their needs. I enjoy my role as every day is different and our residents never cease to make me smile.
I have a deep passion for delivering person-centred care. To enable me to do this I nurture and develop my team members to have the skills, knowledge and understanding of our residents’ needs ensuring the team have care at the centre of everything they do.
Mornington Court is a state-of-the-art care home in New Milton, Hampshire. It provides outstanding residential and respite care alongside support for people living with dementia in luxurious surroundings that radiate warmth and hospitality.
New Milton is a lively market town of great charm and character set among tranquil country lanes on the edge the New Forest. It benefits from excellent rail links to Bournemouth, Southampton and London Waterloo, as well as easy access to the M27 and M3.
Less than two miles to the south of New Milton lies a spectacular stretch of coastline. The cliff-top village of Barton on Sea is noted for the many fossils to be found in the geological beds in the cliffs. The Isle of Wight is just 75 minutes away by ferry.

Our chefs will be delighted to cater for a special occasion, private party or event in Mornington Court’s private dining room. Mornington Court Care Home offers 53 spacious ensuite bedrooms and 2, one bedroom care suites comprising an ensuite bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. The care suites are ideal for couples or for those who would prefer greater space and privacy. The ensuite bedrooms and care suites are all designed to be comfortable, light and spacious. Our interior designers have thoughtfully furnished the bedrooms and care suites with older people in mind to offer a real ‘home from home’ experience and come fully furnished with access with Wi-Fi access and telephone. |
