Lola Torzsa is Home Manager at Nightingale Court Care Home.
I started working for the company around a year ago, initially joining as Head of Care. From here, I have grown and progressed within the Home, working my way swiftly to the position of Deputy Manager, before, more recently, being promoted to Home Manager.
I have worked in the Care sector for around 9 years now, starting my career as an agency carer, motivated by a personal circumstance that helped me realise my passion.
I enjoy caring for the elderly, especially those living with Dementia, as I feel strongly that no one's quality of life should be compromised based on their cognition.
I aim to make sure that everyone who resides with us is provided with the highest level of care and feels safe in their environment.
Specialising in care for those with behavioural problems, memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s, there are a range of spacious, bright ground floor rooms that give guests the freedom to do the things they love, be it reading, watching TV, completing the crossword or having a natter. We have a beautiful a la carte dining area perfect for those summer and spring evenings to dine in, fully equipped with heaters and drop down screens for any condition. The home offers a spacious environment with a range of amenities for your loved ones to enjoy.

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
