Victor Dewson is Manager at Mosswood Care Home.
I have worked with Care Concern for almost six years and previously managed a large, complex care home in Lennoxtown. I live locally in Bridge of Weir, and in addition to Mosswood being a fantastic home, the shorter commute is certainly a welcome bonus. I have been a Registered Nurse for nearly 40 years and have spent the last 20 years working within the care sector after leaving the NHS.
Mosswood Care Home in Linwood, near Paisley, is an impressive, state-of-the-art home that provides residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care convalescent support.
Following a £4.2 million investment, this latest Pacific Care Group care facility has 71 ground-floor private rooms across three separate wings. There are inviting dining and lounge areas in each wing, where residents can read or chat with friends and family. They are bright, cheerful and often compared to a 5 star hotel!
