Meet The Manager

Victor Dewson is Manager at Mosswood Care Home.

I have worked with Care Concern for almost six years and previously managed a large, complex care home in Lennoxtown. I live locally in Bridge of Weir, and in addition to Mosswood being a fantastic home, the shorter commute is certainly a welcome bonus. I have been a Registered Nurse for nearly 40 years and have spent the last 20 years working within the care sector after leaving the NHS.

- Our policies and procedures include safeguarding adults from abuse or neglect and all staff undertake mandatory training in this area. We work closely with local authority agencies adopting multi-agency procedures to ensure everyone is safe.
We have implemented several electronic/digital solutions which has enhanced our the quality outcomes of care, oversight and analytical approach to learning.
