Katie Romero-Bennett is Manager at Miller House Care Home.
I began my role at Shawside in September 2025 and have thoroughly enjoyed my journey so far. Since starting, I have continued to develop and strengthen my skills and knowledge within the role.
I am deeply committed to delivering high-quality care and building strong relationships with residents and their families. I also greatly value the staff I work with and believe I have developed a positive, supportive, and effective working relationship with my team.
Miller House is a welcoming care home in the peaceful Shaw suburb of Oldham. Our purpose-built home provides specialist dementia, residential and nursing care, as well as support for palliative, convalescence and respite needs.
Guided by Christian values and respect for cultural diversity, our care plans are tailored to each individual. We focus on enhancing quality of life, supporting independence, dignity and well-being. Care at Miller House celebrates each resident’s unique gifts and lifestyle, marking a new chapter in life rather than an end.
