Cheryl Shorter is Home Manager at Meadows Park Care Home.
"I have worked in the care sector since 1999, I started as a housekeeper and very quickly developed into the managers role. I have worked in various settings which have included, local authority and 2 large private providers before relocating to Lincolnshire. I have provided rehabilitation, respite and permanent care services which have included those living with dementia.
I love to care for people, we all need some support at some time in our life and I believe that you treat others how you would like to be treated. I thrive on providing a great service that people enjoy living in. I love to spend time with the residents getting to know them and joining in with the activities, you will definitely find me dancing when the activity includes music!"

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
