Activities Are So Important |

At Manor lodge care home we offer a wide range of activities designed to encourage residents to keep mobile and most importantly an interest in life. Activities are organised by staff for e.g. draughts, bingo, cards, quizzes, exercise activities, coffee morning in town. At the rear of building there is a courtyard with a central pond feature, chicken coop, flower beds and a herb garden which are maintained by residents and staff. We also have a Christmas party, summer barbeque and other events. Manor Lodge care home makes every effort to enable service users to attend religious services. A regular multi-denomination service is held at the home and offers holy communion if required. Service users can attend any service of their choice outside the home and transport can often be arranged for this. Arrangements can also be made for all faiths to have pastoral visits within the home or to attend services outside. |
